# The Required Scope of Integration

In order to make PMS/CM work with Pricepoint, Pricepoint must:

* Receive bookings (new, modified, cancelled) from PMS/CM (real-time or based on scheduler)
* Receive availability from PMS/CM in real-time to generate price recommendations (e.g. via webhooks or they can be posted)
* Pricepoint must be able to send price recommendations to PMS/CM via webhooks

**IMPORTANT!** Pricepoint can calculate the availability from the bookings but it's **highly** recommended to post availability directly from PMS/CM to Pricepoint also.
