Step 3 - Receiving Price Recommendations

In order to facilitate the automated price management, PMS/CM must receive the price recommendations from Pricepoint. Price recommendations in Pricepoint are called SELL RATE. Additionally, PMS/CM can send to Pricepoint so-called BASE RATE.

SELL RATE (required)– this rate is calculated by Pricepoint’s artificial intelligence and is pushed by Pricepoint to PMS via webhooks. The rate should be further distributed by PMS/CM to OTAs. See Get Price Recommendations.

BASE RATE (optional) – this rate is considered a benchmark rate. Pricepoint uses the rate as the input in its intelligence when calculating the sell rate. This rate can be:

• o Uploaded from PMS via API Post rates

  o Set up manually in Pricepoint

  o Calculated and suggested by Pricepoint

Upon PMS/CM request, Pricepoint can directly connect to selected OTAs such as Booking.com, Expedia, Despegar, Agoda, Hotelbeds, Hostelworld, Airbnb. If you are interested in such a solution, please contact us at [e-mail].
